School Fuel
The J.A. Grifols Foundation presented School Fuel with a $25,000 grant during a check presentation event hosted by Grifols Biomat USA at its plasma donation center in San Marcos, Texas.
School Fuel operates in San Marcos, serving 1,100 students who have a high risk of little or no food at home. The Foundation grant will support School Fuel’s weekend food program, allowing 100 more students to be added. This is the Foundation’s 3rd grant to School Fuel that has directly served 200 students.
Grifols, J.A. Grifols Foundation, and School Fuel shared information about their mission and activities with participants. Most of School Fuel’s Board of Directors attended and learned about the importance of plasma donation. The local area plasma donor centers will collect food for School Fuel.
