Moma Tina’s Mission House and Wiregrass Area Food

Moma Tina’s Mission House operates an industrial soup kitchen providing meals to the homeless since 2001. The $15,000 grant will renovate the kitchen and purchase new cooking appliances. The Wiregrass Area Food Bank feeds the needy of Southeast Alabama, through $25,000 grant, the Food bank will distribute 217,014 meals. Moma Tina, her family, and Members of the Wiregrass food bank’s Board of Directors attended and learned about the importance of plasma donation. The Dothan center will continue to support the two organizations via volunteering and collecting food items.
