Habitat for Humanity of Tuscaloosa
The J.A. Grifols Foundation presented Habitat for Humanity of Tuscaloosa with a $15,000 grant during a check presentation event hosted by Talecris Plasma Donation Center, part of the Grifols Network of Plasma Donation Centers in Tuscaloosa.
The $15,000 grant awarded to Habitat for Humanity of Tuscaloosa will go towards a new home co-sponsorship for a deserving low-income individual or family. The new home will be part Habitat for Humanity of Tuscaloosa’s Operation Transformation initiative where Habitat home build sites are used in partnership with the nearby Tuscaloosa Career and Technology Academy to train high school students for construction trades.
Habitat for Humanity of Tuscaloosa builds new homes and provides homeownership opportunities for low-income individuals and families. They also repair existing homes for low-income homeowners.
