Bags of Love
The J.A. Grifols Foundation presented Bags of Love with a $25,000 grant during a check presentation event hosted by Grifols TPR at its plasma donation center in Eugene, OR.
Bags of Love provides necessities and comfort items to children who are in crisis due to neglect, abuse, poverty, homelessness, or disaster. The $25,000 grant will support Bags of Love "Fill in the Gaps" program. Each bag of love is filled with age-appropriate clothing, outerwear, toiletries, school supplies, books, toys, and a handmade quilt or fleece blanket.
Grifols, J.A. Grifols Foundation, and Bags of Love shared information about their mission and activities with participants. Community members, local Chamber of commerce, and Bag of Love Board of Directors attended the event. Additionally, the center collects items such as toys and hygiene products to help fill the bags.
